Student Activities Budget Committee (SABC)

Recognized student organizations wishing to request university funds to supplement programs sponsored by their group may do so through the Student Activities Budget Committee (SABC).  Each organization desiring funds must have at least one officer complete the mandatory Online Budget Workshop and pass the Online Budget Workshop Quiz.  (This is typically the Treasurer and/or President although all officers and/or members are welcome.)  After successfully completing the workshop, only those person(s) can download, complete and submit the Event Budget Request (EBR) or the Organizational Conference Budget Request (OCBR) for student travel to the SABC for review.  After the SABC decision, the student organization budget is sent to the Dean of Students or his/her designee for final review, approval and processing.  In most cases, budgets will be decided upon and announced within seven (7) business days of budget submission.

Once a month, in the middle of each month, the Student Activities Budget Committee will hold Budget Development Workshops.  Student organizations that wish to have their budget request (EBR or OCBR) reviewed before submission, or to get further assistance as to how to complete their budget request, can sign up online for a 10-minute appointment here:

Events

If the person submitting the budget request cannot make the appointment day or time due to a class conflict, he/she can email the Student Activities Budget Committee at sabc@wayne.edu to set up an alternate appointment.

*NOTE: Before you submit this to the SABC, you must have successfully completed the Online Budget Workshop and Quiz.
