Biography
Celine Shamoun (she/her) is a Care Case Manager on the Care, Support and Intervention team in the Dean of Students Office at Wayne State University. She provides non-clinical case management to WSU students and facilitates referrals to on-campus and community resources. Celine also serves as a member of the WSU Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT).
In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Celine is a part of various campus groups including the WSU Campus Security Compliance Team, Wayne Academic Union Social Justice Committee, and Middle Eastern North African+ Employee Association.
Celine graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Social Work with Honors in 2019 and earned a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University in 2020. Celine is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Michigan. Prior to her current role, Celine worked within child welfare case management in Wayne County.
