In this pointer, you will learn how to check-in guests for your event using the Campus Labs Check-in app. Note, this is a different app than Corq. For this training, we will be using an IOS device which may look different when compared to android.
Let's start by first going to the app store and in the search bar type in "Campus Labs Event Check-in."
Now download and open the app.
Accessing your event code
Once opened it will ask for your event code.
The event code can be found in the lower right corner of your event page that was created on Get Involved. It is automatically generated by Get Involved, and does not change if you edit your event details.

Once you have entered the code in the Check-in app, click "Start Session".
Checking in guests
If this is your first time opening the app you will need to give it permission to access you camera so that it can load up the QR scanning tool. Also, it may ask you to login with you AccessID and password.
After giving permission you can now begin scanning and checking in guests at your event. If a guest has RSVP'd for your event, it will be noted when scanning them in.
You can also lookup students by clicking "Lookup" and search for them by entering their AccessID.
If an outside guest attendees your event, such as a community member or friend from an outside institution, you can also check them in by clicking the "+" button and entering their e-mail address. This will track the attendance of the outside guest as an unregistered user within Get Involved since they do not have an active account.
The last button, "Attendees", will allow you to see all those who have already been checked-in by the app.
The Event Chck-in App can now check-in and out giving you an accurate attendee number simply scan the attendee's Event Pass again as they're leaving. This will assist your organization in making sure your event numbers do not exceed the space requirements.
After the event, all this data can be exported from the event page on Get Involved. To do this, click on "manage organization" in the top left corner of your screen on Get Involved. Then it will take you to the home screen. On the top left corner, click the three bar hamburger button and click "Events." This is where you will see your events, click on it and it will take you to this screen:
Click on the red "export" button to get all of the data. An email will be sent to your Wayne State account with a link to download the data.
